Workshop: Access to General Education Curricula: What Does It Mean and How Can It Be Achieved?

Research shows that the education of students with disabilities is made more effective by having high expectations and ensuring that students with disabilities have access to age-appropriate, general education curriculum to the maximum extent possible! In this informative workshop, participants will increase their knowledge of how students can be included successfully in general education classrooms while also meeting their Individual Education Plan goals. Assistive technology devices, teacher training, and built in curriculum alternatives are just a few of the examples that will be shared!
