The Parents Toolkit: What Parents Need to Know about Pragmatic Language

Parents of deaf or hard of hearing children who attend will learn:

  • How pediatric audiologists can assess what your child can hear and how that matters for equipment programming.
  • How pragmatic language; the basis of social relationships, typically develops
  • How to further their child’s pragmatic language: the “missing link” in social development. 
  • What typical language challenges exist for our kids and strategies for those challenges
