A FREE presentation by national education expert Dr. Richard A. Villa

Join us on October 27 for an exciting, informative and FREE presentation by Dr. Richard A. Villa, a nationallyknown leader in building inclusive education. Dr. Villa has worked with thousands of teachers and administrators throughout North America and the world, to develop and implement organizational and instructional support systems for educating all students within general education settings. Denver Public Schools’ Special Education Director, Diann Richardson, says, “DPS is putting into practice what they learned from Dr. Villa. He provided school leaders and teaching staff tools to facilitate inclusive practices for students with different abilities.” This presentation is designed for educators, administrators, parents and anyone who believes in creating inclusive educational environments. To really get the most from this presentation, school staff, principals and parents are encouraged to attend together as a team. Participants will become familiar with the characteristics of inclusionary schools, rationales for change, organizational and instructional strategies to support inclusionary schooling, and successful examples from elementary, middle and high school.
